Vikram University of Ujjain, Vikram University is taken to have been established in Ujjain from 1st March ,1957 after the special verdict of the high Court.Otherwise Vikram University is taken as legally established from the date of publication of the supplementary Madhyabharat Gazette special issue dated 25th June, 1955 registered organization by the Govt. of M.P. under society act.Vikram University is a university in the city of Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh, India. Ujjain is known for its antiquity and its rich cultural and religious traditions. The university, which is named after the ruler Vikramaditya, was established in 1957. The foundation stone was laid by the then Home Minister of India Govind Vallabh Pant. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) in India has awarded grade “A” to the university.
